terminal illness

for those of you that don't know, I (joey) do a little bit of traveling for work. I love my job, i love the company, the people, the challenges of the job, but I don't love the travel. Airplanes & Hotels used to symbolize fun/vacation/adventure or relaxation, but they now represent time away from my two best friends; Katie & Judah. So I have a few conversations throughout the day with them, try to pray for them, think about them a lot, and usually look at pictures. I usually show the photos off to people on the airplane, or my customers. I am sitting in a terminal right now with some typical delay, so I thought I'd blog to share the pics. Enjoy...

Joe, Thanks for the posting these pictures. I love them! The football one is just so great! I would not want to be on the opposing team judah plays on.

Joey, Every day Heath sighs the loudest sigh after the 5th or 6th time his alarm goes off. I know what he is thinking, "I don't want to go where I am going all day." It would be so sad to have him leave over night! We love you guys and feel for you.

Joey, Katie & Judah,

I came across your blog on the internet very randomly and I just had to say thank you and introduce myself...My name is Ashley and I found your blog while I was searching for images of delphiniums+bouquets because I am thinking of using blue delphinium in my wedding next month. Upon finding your blog and trying to locate the image of the delphinium bouquet I read through a couple of your blogs and I couldn't believe what I found...a hidden blessing. So many of the things you had to say were so encouraging to me. My fiancee lives in DC right now, he's in the military, and we've been trying to survive this long distance relationship for the past six months. One of the hardest things for us has been to maintain a Christ-centered relationship while we plan our wedding, plan for our future together AND try to have a healthy relationship from a distance. Your words are so genuine and have spoken to my heart, they have given me that boost that I needed. Thanks, Ashley.
P.s. You have such a beautiful family it makes me so excited to start my own!

Imagine our surprise of first of all finding your blog, then seeing you had mentioned us (btw I loved my bouquets with delphinium, and if Ashley Zermeno lived closer I would tell her to hire you ). It was fun looking over your blog and seeing pictures of Judah. Jose and I really need to make an effort to plan some time with you guys. The days are ticking by for Baby Girl Hill to come, hope things are going well!
